Wow, what a busy first week out in the garden!
Thanks to everyone’s hard work, the great changes to come are already starting to appear! Container gardening, garden cloche creations, tomato plant plantings, a five thousand dollar grant, and a visit from President Merten – my head is spinning with excitement! As if the school week wasn’t enough for the garden, today I met with the Mason chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, a national co-ed service fraternity, for some fun in the sun Saturday morning garden work! I am so happy to see so much progress so quickly this semester, and am really thankful for the various forms of support from everyone!
Thanks a heap Alpha Phi Omega – Hope to see you all again real soon!
