November in the Garden

Here we are, well into autumn. We are harvesting the last remaining vegetables. Lots of p
eppers! The calendula flowers are in full bloom! And more raspberries! Also the cover crop is beginning to grow wild! Check out the photos, they say it all.

Donated this bag of peppers to the Salvation Army food kitchen today!

I’m working on cleaning and drying these flowers for healing ointments and tonic tinctures.

Once this dries on the plant, I hope to harvest it, grind it up and make it into a meal, like quinoa.

Here are some tulip bulbs planted for the spring!
